With an IMDb rating of 7.9 so far with more than 30k user rated, This movie is one of the best period movies made so far. This movie is a must-watch for history lovers. Full of big names in the movie like Chiyan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, and Aishwarya Rai to name a few. The movie is very well directed by Mani Ratnam.

The movie revolves around the Power Struggle in Chola Dynasty between 900 AD to 950 AD. The main plots include Sundara Chozhan and his sons Aaditha Karikalan and Arunmozhivarman. The internal conspiracies and politics surrounding the main characters form the basis of this movie.

With an IMDb rating of 8.6, This movie is loved by all and we had tears in our eyes watching this movie. The movie is full of emotions. The chemistry between Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur is amazing. The life of An orphan soldier, Lieutenant Ram changes, after getting a letter from a girl named Sita. And then the story flows from there.

Rashmika Mandana as Afreen is a student president of Pakistan at a university in London. She had a fight and needs money to settle that fight with an Indian Businessman. She takes up the job of delivering a letter to Sita Mahalakshmi at the insistence of her grandfather’s will. Though she doesn’t like the job, she agrees to do it to get her share of her grandfather’s property. The letter is written by Lieutenant Ram to Sita.

Rated 8.2 by IMDb and Based on a true story of Mumbai 9/11, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Who is a trainer of NSG Commando leads the team to fight the Terrorist Who captured innocent civilians in Hotel Taj Mumbai.

Adivi Sesh, Prakash Raj, and Revathi as the Lead Actors make this movie a great watch. The story unfolds all the events which happened in Hotel Taj and how NSG Commandoes got rid of the Terrorist from Pakistan.

Ranked 6th : Rocketry The Nambi Effect(2022)

With an IMDb rating of 8.8, This movie ranked 6th in our chart. Based on the life of Indian Space Research Organization scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was framed for being a spy and arrested in 1994. Though free, he continues to fight for justice against the officials who falsely implicated him.

A very well-directed and acted movie by Ranganathan Madhavan. The story will hook you till the end and will make you ask a lot of questions which is still unanswered.

Ranked 5th: Kantara (2022)

IMDb rating of 8.8, this Kannada movie has broken a lot of records and was compared with KGF. The story is really fresh and the acting is brilliant. Few scenes from the movie will give you goosebumps. The movie ticks Action, Adventure, Drama, and Thriller. So, you can imagine the storyline.

Rishab Shetty in Lead roles delivers the unexpected. The story revolves around a demigod Varaha who is protecting the Tribals and how a rich man whose ancestors earlier gave this land to the Tribals, Uses his Trickery to get it back.

Ranked 4th : Vikram(2022)

Whatever People say but with an IMDb rating of 8.4, this movie is still a favorite of lot many people. You hardly get to see Kamal Hasan and Vijay Setupathy together.

The story is about a masked gang that keeps on killing government officials and Amar who is leading a black squad commando team is given a chance to find those killers. Amar discovers a lot of things on his way to find the masked gang members.

Ranked 3rd: KGF Chapter 2(2022)

Ahh, With an IMDb rating of 8.4. KGF still wins our hearts. Released quite late after KGF Chapter one. It was eagerly waited by the KGF Fans. This movie comes with a bang for the buck. And with Sanjay Dutt in the villain role, this movie is a super as we say to watch.

Beautiful Cinematography, and the KGF Fan base made this Kannada-origin movie a superhit this year.

Ranked 2nd: The Kashmir Files(2022)

Hmm, So It’s here. With an IMDb rating of 8.3. This movie made our hearts feel numb. It felt like we needed a lot of courage to face the truth of what happened in Kashmir. And this movie depicts and summarizes all. Vivek Agnihotri wins the heart of a lot of Kashmiri Pandits with this movie.

The storyline is what makes this movie loved by all. This movie presents the facts which we have ignored for years and the plight Kashmiri Pandits have faced.

Ranked 1st : RRR(Rise Rose Revot 2022)

With an 8.0 IMDb rating, It’s here finally RRR(2022). Have anyone doubted that, Well I don’t think so? What a brilliant movie. Best Cinematography and VFX. Best Acting, the Best Background music, and a well-written storyline.

The more we say the less it is, This movie broke all records and was a super hit worldwide. we didn’t expect the Tollywood Industries to make such an awesome movie. It beats Bollywood this year at least and the war is on. We hope to see more such movies in the future.
